Free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under this summer!
Due to predicted severe weather, we will be postponing physical night. We will reschedule for Wednesday, May 15th. Questions about the reschedule can be directed to Athletic Trainer Grant Schamburg gschamburg@wpsok.org
We are closely monitoring weather reports and want to work with families as they make decisions on what is best for their child. Currently, our plan is to maintain our regular school schedule and dismiss at the normal release time. Students and staff that are at the school will all have a safe place if concerning weather arises.
We do understand that some families may prefer to pick up their child early. We also understand that your child may normally ride the bus, but you want to pick them up today. If this is the case, please let our offices know early so that we aren’t making last minute changes.
Your child's safety is our top priority and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our processes efficient and effective during these times.

Weatherford High School Girls Track Team was recognized today for being the 2024 Academic State Champions!
It has been brought to our attention that there is an individual going around town claiming to represent the Weatherford Athletic Department and requesting donations for our athletic program. This individual did not provide appropriate school credentials, would not leave a handout, and became defensive when told no. If you are suspicious of any person who approaches you regarding a donation, request to see their school identification or call the school for clarification. If you have seen this individual or have already spoken to or donated to this individual, please contact the Weatherford Police Department.

This weekend the WHS theatre department will present our spring play, The Last Shanty!! This show has been completely student written, directed, and designed! Please come out and support these young thespians and devoted student director, Izzy O'Bleness!
Saturday, May 4th we have TWO performances: 2:00pm and 6:00pm
Sunday, May 5th we perform at 4:00pm
$5 for Adults • $3 for Students
Doors will open 30 minutes before the performance.
There will be a Title VI parent meeting this Wednesday (May 1st) at 6:00PM followed by a JOM meeting at 6:30PM. These meetings will take place at the Weatherford Middle School old art building (west side of WMS campus). Thank you!
