Come out to the HS gym tonight at 7:30 for a community wide pep rally

Good afternoon! The WHS boys basketball team plays in the state tournament’s first round this Wednesday, March 12, at 1:30 PM at the Big House. To allow staff and students to attend, there will be no classes that day. We hope you can make the trip to OKC to support our team! Go Eagles!

We want to inform all parents that the afternoon bus routes will be running approximately 20 minutes behind the normal schedule today.

Mark your calendars! Eagles will rock their crazy socks to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (3/21) early on March 13th due to spring break! Sites will have socks for sale (while supplies last); so watch for details.
Help us celebrate and create awareness at WPS!

Weatherford Public Schools are planning to have school tomorrow! With the extremely cold temperatures, please ensure children stay indoors while waiting for the bus and avoid arriving at school before the doors open. Stay safe and warm—we’ll see you in the morning!

Weatherford Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th. Stay safe and warm.

🚨 Time Change 🚨
Parent-teacher conferences will be Monday, February 17th 11AM to 6PM.

WPS will not have school on Thursday, February 13. While many streets and roads are passable, we still have several bus routes that will be slick and dangerous in the morning. Additionally, Friday, February 14 is a scheduled day off. Stay safe and have a good weekend!

Due to hazardous road conditions expected tomorrow morning, the Weatherford School District will be closed on Wednesday, February 12.

There will be no JV basketball games tonight at Bethany.
Varsity girls will start at 5:00 with boys to follow.

Hi Weatherford families! We are excited by the great things being communicated in our two-way communication system in the Weatherford school app, Rooms. Invites have been sent out to parents who still have not activated their account. Check your email/text if that happens to be you, and see our Rooms Support webpage if you have any questions.

The Weatherford Public Schools Administration building is currently without internet and phones. No ETA at this time. We will let you know as soon as we get it resolved.

Due to the possibility of dangerous roads tomorrow, Weatherford Public Schools and all activities will be cancelled Friday, January 10. Stay safe and keep warm!!

Both the middle school and high school tournament games for today have been postponed. Updates will be given about Friday and Saturday games at a later time.

Parents of Seniors: This is required for your student to receive their diploma!
This THURSDAY night, January 9th, is FAFSA Night at WHS in Eagle 1 & 2 rooms in the PAC from 5:30-7:30pm. Parents are welcome to come and go during this time to receive help with your FAFSA from SWOSU Financial Aid Specialists. Your senior does not have to plan to attend SWOSU in order for you to come and receive help filling out your FAFSA. Parents will benefit by creating an FSAID at studentaid.gov before attending this event. (Please note: Seniors have already created an FSAID and can help parents create theirs, if needed!). Please bring your child's Chromebook or a laptop, and your most recent tax returns. We will have some Chromebooks on hand if you are unable to bring one.
Please remember that filling out the FAFSA is a new graduation requirement by the State of Oklahoma.

Junior High and High School Parents: There will be a soccer booster club meeting Tuesday, December 17th at 7PM at the high school football film room in the high school field house. Parents and players please attend!

Tomorrow's Basketball games against the OKC Knights will be at Weatherford. Girl's Varsity will start at 6 with Boy's JV to follow.

Parents/Guardians: Due to foggy conditions, some bus routes are running behind schedule this morning. Thank you.

There will be NO Native American club meeting today (December 3rd or next Tuesday December 10th). The last meeting of the semester is Tuesday, December 17th from 3:30-6:00. Thank you!
