Bus Rider Parents! If you want to beat the crowds at enrollment, knock out some important back to school paperwork, AND help our transportation team out, please stop by the administration building at 1409 Cypress sometime this summer . You can fill out your child's bus contract and route/shuttle form ahead of time, saving you time at enrollment when lines can get long. Thank you!

Congratulations to Kelly Wilson on becoming the new High School Assistant Principal. Kelly has taught for 14 years in Special Education and was named the 2013 Weatherford Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Wilson has sponsored student council, special olympics, unified sports, and has coached various sports while at WPS.

Free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under this summer!

We are closely monitoring weather reports and want to work with families as they make decisions on what is best for their child. Currently, our plan is to maintain our regular school schedule and dismiss at the normal release time. Students and staff that are at the school will all have a safe place if concerning weather arises. We do understand that some families may prefer to pick up their child early. We also understand that your child may normally ride the bus, but you want to pick them up today. If this is the case, please let our offices know early so that we aren’t making last minute changes. Your child's safety is our top priority and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our processes efficient and effective during these times. Weatherford Administration Team

Weatherford High School Girls Track Team was recognized today for being the 2024 Academic State Champions!

It has been brought to our attention that there is an individual going around town claiming to represent the Weatherford Athletic Department and requesting donations for our athletic program. This individual did not provide appropriate school credentials, would not leave a handout, and became defensive when told no. If you are suspicious of any person who approaches you regarding a donation, request to see their school identification or call the school for clarification. If you have seen this individual or have already spoken to or donated to this individual, please contact the Weatherford Police Department.

This weekend the WHS theatre department will present our spring play, The Last Shanty!! This show has been completely student written, directed, and designed! Please come out and support these young thespians and devoted student director, Izzy O'Bleness!   Saturday, May 4th we have TWO performances: 2:00pm and 6:00pm Sunday, May 5th we perform at 4:00pm $5 for Adults • $3 for Students Doors will open 30 minutes before the performance.
