LIBRARY NEWS Mrs. Meier has taught at Weatherford High School for 32 years.  she has been the Library Media Specialist at WHS for 5 years.  Mrs. Meier has also taught 9th - 12th English and newspaper at Weatherford.  She has 2 degrees from Southwestern Oklahoma State University--Bachelors in English/Art Education and Masters of Education.  She is also certified (24 hours from UCO) as a library media specialist.

Mrs. Meier's husband, Gene, and 4 children graduated from Weatherford Schools, and she went to grade school in Weatherford.

Mrs. Meier's goal for a successful library is to buy books that high school students and teachers like to read. She reads teen books and adult books voraciously and takes requests from students and teachers.
